Mas Oller plus,
Vinification: Made from hand-selected grapes from vines planted 80-100m. (260-330ft) above sea level. Cold maceration to obtain maximum colour and aromatic expression. Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. A modern wine which reflects the traditional winemaking techniques of the Empordà.
Food pairing: Red meat, poultry and game, mature cheese, pulses, casseroles and cured meats. An ideal wine for a formal dinner.
Tasting Note: Colour: deep glossy red with blue and violet iridescences. Aroma: ripe fruit such as red plums and black cherries. Taste: smooth, deep, round, balanced and complex.
Varieties: Syrah, Grenache.
Vineyards:Casa, Romagossa i Montanya.
Blend: 65%, 35%.
Alcoholic grade:14º
Momenteel een Mas Oller plus 2008 in het glas, krijgt 93p in de Penin gids van 2011 - Donkerrode kleur naar zwart toe, zacht, rond, smaakvol ... een goede combinatie Syrah, Garnacha ik geef hem 92p.
Nog niet zo bekent heb ik het gevoel.
