NEGRE DE NEGRES 2009

The 2009 Negre de Negres, tasted from a barrel sample, will spend 14 months in French oak by the time it is bottled in the next 1-2 months. It is more perfumed and structured than the Gotas cuvee. Dense black fruits, Asian spices, and mineral notes compose its inviting nose but in the glass it becomes evident that this large-scaled, powerful effort is in need of 4-6 years of cellaring. It will be at its best from 2015 to 2024.

Priced in the middle range for red wines from Priorat. The price has been stable over the past year... hij is elke euro waard.
