Chateau de Lastours - Cuvée Simone Deschamps 2008 - Corbières
Cherryred colour, nice colourfull wine but with evolution visible in the rim towards orange/brown. Less red/black fruit as expected due to the age. Now more animal tones, stable, but still the typical spices and herb flavours are still there. I remember earlier tastings as having much more fruit.
Fresh fine accids, smooth start, now the black cooked/stewed fruits come back.
Good concentration, medium length, soft finish. Well balanced wine, on it's way back, so drink now. Will definately buy young vintage again.
