Rocbère - Grand Opéra 2010
June 2015: dark red color, still lots of black fruit, black prumes, beginning of evolution. Vivid start, alcohol is well balanced, high acidity, lots of tanninne. Powerfull body, a pitty of having the tanninne a bit too hard.
Feb 2016: idem but even more evolution. well integrated wood, balanced, good length, good body, but goes towards black chocolate now. Drink asap. Will not get better.
Will buy again due to good P/Q ratio.
Rocbère - Vieux 2010
Cherryred, with evolution to brown in the rim; violets which go fast into earthy tones, followed by spices, pepper, garrigue herbs. There are not so much black fruit like plums, cassis left as this wine is on it's way back; In the mouth a bit black fruit left, but also spices and garrigue herbs, tanninnes completely integrated. Medium to short length, black chocolate, changing into spice aromas fast. I guess this 1 is a bit too old and on it's way back. Drink asap. Will buy young vintage again due to good PQ ratio
