Cherry-red colour though already some evolution in colour (not the fresh-red-cherry colour anymore). In the nose quite closed, not a lot of flavours: red fruit; confited fruit but also some ALC in the nose. 2nd nose has more herbs, spices. In the mouth a lot of spices and herbs, but too much alcohol which makes it unbalanced. Also a lot of accids which makes the wine go sour and generous. Too few aromas to counterbalance this wine. Short finish with some chocolate and coffee. Not good. Bad bottle? 1/5

De beschrijving die je maakt klinkt voor mij als een redelijk typische languedoc, dus ik ben niet zeker dat dit een slechte fles was. De alcohol zal iets minder uitgesproken zijn als je de wijn net onder kamertemperatuur drinkt, maar een alcoholische toets is anders wel typisch voor de streek en druiven (grenache dan toch als er in zit).
