Château La Voulte-Gasparets - Cuvée Réserve 2012
Cherryred colour, colourfull concentration; in the nose black fruit, the typical spices and herbs, toasted barrel, but also starting animal flavours, stable, wet leather; though this gives a quite elegant nose. In the mouth a smooth start, lots of tanninnes though nicely integrated. A bit hard and heavy wine. Short finish with bitter chocolate, toasted wood. Just passed. 2,5/5 |

Toen ik een paar jaar geleden in de streek was heb ik de Cuvee Romain Pauc hiervan gedronken, geloof ik. Was er toen ook niet echt enthousiast over. Ben daardoor het domein ook niet gaan bezoeken. Zou nochtans een van de betere domeinen van Corbières moeten zijn.

Ik heb wel goede ervaring met deze wijn. Een paar jaargangen van gedronken en nooit ontgoocheld geweest.

Inderdaad, ik kan vorige 2 posters bijtreden: ook ik had wat opzoekingswerk gedaan bij de selectie van deze wijn, en de verwachtingen waren hoog over deze. Maar uiteindelijk in het glas was dit niets bijzonders.
