Jeanine Boutin
Saint Joseph - "Parcelle de Jean" - 2009
98% Syrah, 2% Roussanne Mijn TN van CT: Clearly still needs some time to really come together and get in balance. On the first day, it was very expressive, very fruity, clear spicy touches, animal touches as well. Good acidity, clear and ripe tannines and a nice bitterness in the finish. On day 2 and 3 it was much smoother and all parts were much better in balance. Drink now decanted or wait 1 or 2 years... Manuele oogst, gegist in inox. 18 maanden gerijpt in inox (80%) en 500L oak barrels (20%) Wijnen worden gemaakt door Stephane Vedeau (Jeanine Boutin is zijn moeder). "If it's red, French, costs too much, and tastes like the water that's left in the vase after the flowers have died and rotted, it's probably Burgundy." -Jay McInerney, "Bacchus & Me" => To be clear, just like the quote :-) |
