Een tijd geleden ben ik met een Instagram account van start gegaan.
Het loopt op zen gemak, ongeveer 1 post per week.

Vooral over natuurlijke wijnen en eten.

Er is gewoon veel meer animo te vinden omtrent deze wijnen.
En dus ook veel meer om zelf te ontdekken in dat genre.

Het is niet de bedoeling dat ik enkel nog daar post en lees.
Maar wel om hier ook even die ervaringen te delen.

Ze zijn in het Engels, voor de talenknobbels onder ons.
Zie je een fout, laat me gerust weten via PM deze kunnen nog altijd aangepast worden.

Chenin Chardonnay from Les Chants Jumeaux easy drinking and very fresh wine with an excellent price quality to start. And then straight to some complex juices! La Perdida - A Chiara 2015 100% Dona Branca fully packed white wine with a complex acid and minerals structure. Pretty amazing if you ask me! Then we are off to France again. I'm like who is up for some Sauvignon Blanc? This wine their Blanc 2016 is a verry pure wine and has a long lingering finish. And then a Chardonnay to call it a day. For the white wines at least. Reynald héaulè - Rive Droite. Forgot to ask the vintage but it's a good one ?. Typical Reynald style. Pure, elegant, balanced and finesse are the first things that pop in your mind while this take you for a long ride... Want some red? Hell yes. First stop Cahors: L'Ostal - Plein-Chant 2015 100% Malbec not a heavy black wine. We are not a fan when it comes to that style. So here you a have a live fruity and surrounded with fresh acids red wine. Next is Bordeaux: Ormiale 2015 by @fabricedomercq second time I have the honours to taste it. It's evolving and complexity is being gained and yesterday it showed a nice spicy note aswell .You can drink this now and enjoy a real good Bordeaux! Or be patient and get your socks knocked off be kick ass Bordeaux. It will be tasty any ways... Ended with a 2017 Rouge Marcel by Les Chants Jumeaux ( not on pic. ) this is a fresh red blended red Loire Grolleau, Gamay,... Ook wijnhandelleuvin zit op Instagram en daar post ik af en toe ook eens iets. Ik ben allesbehalve een "kenner", maar naar mijn gevoel gaat Instagram over foto's met een (heel) kort tekstje. Als ik jou was zou dus al deze flessen afzonderlijk fotograferen en telkens met enkele dagen tussen posten met een kortere tekst per fles. Dat heeft ook het voordeel dat je telkens de aandacht trekt.
Zelf post ik ook te weinig. Geen tijd en geen goesting.

Meestal is het dan ook zo fles per fles.
Maar af en toe (zoals de eerste foto hier) zijn het er een paar.

Het is ook de bedoeling om er enkel beknopt over te schrijven.
Hier gebeurt het wel eens dat mijn TN wat aan de langere kant kan uitvallen.

It's a wine that takes you on a full tasting trip.
And leaves its mark, to last for quite some time. Complexity, full and finesse. Fruit, minerals. I can keep on going.

Btw, we dronken twee weken terug de savagnin 2002 van Labet, die was ook bijzónder mooi.

Langdradig, toevallig een van mijn specialiteiten!

Nu ergens wil ik zoveel mogelijk hashtags.
Hoe meer hashtags, hoe meer bereik.

Dat bereik, kan dan weer leiden tot nieuwe mensen om zelf te volgen.
En opnieuw weer meer wijnen te ontdekken...

Five years ago I was introduced to a wine called Adonis. Hooked and sold in a heartbeat... The grape was called Pineau d'Aunis. Now here is from that same winemaker another 100% Pineau d'Aunis. The vines are over 100 years old, the soils are clay and silex. Grapes are manually harvested and destemmed. Ageing for 36 months in 5 year old barrels (228 liter). This is a blended year so I assume in this case it's a bit different . No sulfur added. Some info about the winemaker: Renaud Guettier started La Grapperie in 2004 with a very small parcel 1/2 hectare. And now he has around 4 hectares, spread over 15 small plots.

So this bottle:

La Grapperie
L'enchanteresse 15-16
100% Pineau d'Aunis.

Pop and pour.

Red fruits, some funky earth notes.
A real elegant wine, one of the most refined I had this year...
Tannins are really smooth and the drink-ability is high! Warning this empties fast if your not careful. ?
Decanted a half bottle and the second half. On day two was mind blowing. The wine gained complexity and body. Harmony and complexity with one soul purpose. Providing you with one hell of a drink! Orange wine 100% Albillo Real. Unfined, unfiltered and no added sulphites. Somewhere in Spain, Castilla y Léon, Sierra de Gredos this beauty was brought to life by Fabio Bartolomei.
Granite and sand soils between 600 and 1200m above sea level. If you get your hands on a bottle check out the backside! ?

The wine is very full and strong. Juicy yet complex, it needed some time. Best if you open it a few hours before consumption.
Pour a small glass and let the remaining wine live and breath some more. It became harmonious with notes of blood orange, a bitterness and a few flavors hard to discribe. Yet very authentic to natural wine.
Matched beautifully, again proof orange wine and pork dishes! ? @hansdusselier thanks

Zonder hashtags maar alweer een andere bedenking van een ouwe brombeer die niet meer mee is: krijgt gij al die flessen gratis misschien? Of dank je gewoon de wijnhandelaar omdat je een fles hebt mogen kopen?

Das gewoon de vriendelijkheid en dankbaarheid tss mensen in de natuurwijn sekte :-)
Orange kan je pairen met een ganse menu , zit wat tss rood en wit. Voor twijfelaars op resto die niet wit en rood pakken en het houden bij 1 fles
Maar heb dedju al mooie pairings gehad met Orange wines!

Belgian wine, I can hear some of you thinking. Does it even exist? Well if we're are talking about natural wine. The answer is yes! Servaas Blockeel the winemaker started out with a small home project several years ago. And planted a second plot about 1 hectare. Time being around Mai 2013. The planted varieties are Rondo, Bronner, Solaris and Muscat Blue. Nowadays he has around 4 hectares. Spreaded over a few plots. The credo being '' grapes nothing else. '' The winery is located in the Western part of the Flanders, Otegem. The wines are still very limited. I had the chance to buy three bottles and told myself be patient. And wait with your first bottle. Truthfully said, each and every time when passing by the bottles there was this urge...
To pop open a bottle!
Couldn't resist so here we go.

Lijsternest - Mag Da 2017

The wine was served first a tad chilled.
Opened and we let it breathe for a few minutes.

It had a floral note, some berries and something I like to call seductive.
Makes you want to taste!
Fresh and '' vivant''. The mouthfeel is elegant and well balanced. Nothing hard the tannins are smooth and you could think it's glouglou.
And in a way it is but this wine deserves more attention. Because it's complex!
It's a feel good juice. @wijngaard_lijsternest top!

When you are in the mood for a fresh and juicy wine. The Ardèche région isn't always the first that comes to mind. And with this post it's exactly where we are going.

Off to see what Jérôme Jouret is creating up the hills of the Vallée de l'ilbie.
A small hamlet called Villeneuve-de-berg.
At an altitude around 400 meters.
Providing a cooler climate for the vines, who definitely help to create freshness.

Jérôme took over the family business in 2005. Wanting to do things differently he created his fist natural wine in 2006. And hasn't stopped since, lucky for us.

With respect for nature, and harvesting by hand, only grapes that have reached a perfect ripening. He creates aromatic tastebud bombs.

Domaine Jérôme Jouret - Pas à Pas 2017.

Carignan 65%, Alicante 15% and Grenache 20%. A mixture of red and black fruits. Spices going on from pepper to garrigue. The. Mouthfeel is soft, round fruity and complex. Elegance and finesse are other words that come to mind.
Glouglou with style. Because the wine is drinking so easy, one could think it's kinda simple. It is not, don't let your thirst fool you.

Vanuit Italiaans perspectief bekeken (ok, mijn misvorming ) wel; daar wordt alicante soms gebruikt als synoniem voor grenache
